Ballara Le Roi A.334 (M) carries both imported French and Canadian bloodlines and will be used to cover a limited number of our mares in 2013. Le Roi is an exceptionally trainable young colt with a willingness to please that highlights his brilliant temperament. We look forward to campaigning this handsome colt in 2012.

For the past few breeding seasons we have relied mostly on artificial insemination from both chilled and frozen semen and will do so again for the 2012 breeding season. We have our own purebred stallion which we use to cover some of our Appendix mares for our breeding up program but for our purebred mares, we prefer to use chilled or frozen semen.

We use Wilson's Equivet Australia at Southbrook for AI-ing all of our mares with both frozen and chilled semen. All follicle testing and insemination for chilled semen is done on our premises and mares for frozen semen are transported to Equivet for insemination.

We are very fortunate to have imported semen from France from three incredible French Percheron stallions this breeding season.
